My name is Wren. I am a sound designer & re-recording mixer based in Ridgewood, Queens.

What? You want to know more? OMG you’re obsessed with me 🙄

I started my career in IATSE Local 481 in the sound department, working on some really cool films like I Care A Lot (2020), Free Guy (2021), and Coda (2021). I transitioned to post while getting my MFA at NYU Tisch Grad Film, the first they’ve ever granted with a concentration in sound design!

While pursuing my MFA, I founded Wild Shape Sound, a boutique post sound studio which has had multiple brick & mortar iterations here in Ridgewood. We design, edit, and mix independent feature films that we love. Some films that we’re super proud of include Something You Should Know About Me (2026), Caity (2026), Revelations of Divine Love (2025) and The Scout (2025). I have also composed and sound designed for experimental theater which has premiered at Lincoln Center. I currently teach sound design for film & television at NYU.
